"PURPLE FLOWERS"
Sandy uses a technique of painting between the layers of glass on several pieces, and loves the results. This piece is a slumped plate. Using paint this way can be done in almost any form, including hanging pieces and pieces made in slumping molds. Sandy has featured flowers, birds, and animals in these pieces.

"THE IRIS"
The Iris is a fused glass piece. The leaf outline is paint, and the leaves are 'frit'. The result does bring back childhood memories of "flags" growing all over Eastern Washington. The stained glass frame is a perfect finish. This piece has been in a juried art show.

"CHRISTMAS GEOMETRY"
This slumped plate was an exercise in geometry. Never Sandy's favorite subject, but really fun to do. The colors were for Christmas; it is resting on a white cloth. The white is actually clear. This plate was $75.
